WHAT SUBJECTS ARE IMPORTANT ON STEP 1?
On the USMLE Step 1, the two big Ps come out to be most important : Pathology and Physiology
Next would be Microbiology and Pharmacology - Immunology and genetics have been recent gainer in importance and must be dealt as a separate subjects !
Biochemistry, Histology, Embryology, Beahavioural science, Ethics and Psychiatry would be next
Anatomy can easily be left for the last on your prep timetable - but do take note that within Anatomy, Neuroanatomy certainly has a lot of weightage !
