NBME TESTS FOR SELF-ASSESSMENT
For the uninitiated, NBME stands for National Board of Medical Examiners - which consists of guys who create and set questions on the USMLE ! And thankfully, they have a service to help candidates assess their preparedness for the boards.
The other important thing is that these self-assessment questions also include experimental questions that the NBME uses to assign difficulty levels depending on how average performance for the questions is. Thus, these questions are of dual importance - besides self-assessment, they also help you focus on concepts that are high-yield for the test !
