Puerto Rico is a semi-autonomous U.S. Commonwealth territory island located around 1200 Miles off the Florida Coast and the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine offers electives to Non-US Foreign medical students too, in various specialties.Here are some details:
Before you read any further, note that besides English, you need to be fluent in spoken Spanish too - merely knowing Hola, Adios and Gracias won't cut it ;-)
Duration: 12 Weeks Maximum
Visa: F1 visas only - No Visitors will be accepted during the Elective
Fees: $25 Per Specialty ( but verify with the document posted below)

I think this particular clerkship is very easy for South American and Mexican med students to grab, as they are fluent in both Espanol and English, but for Asian students this might be a tad bit difficult as I'm yet to meet a desi med student who is fluent in both written and spoken Espanol.
True :-D am expanding my audience then ;-)
