BUT site mentions = "You must be planning to return to your country after the observership is over. We want you to use your new knowledge and skills in your own country where you are needed. This opportunity is not intended to help you immigrate to the USA." (Of course they can't make you sign a bond saying that, but you should be discreet in discussing your plans !)

regarding the MGH stroke observership:
"Due to the overwhelming demand for observerships and commitment to educate our own residents and fellows, we are unable to consider unsolicited observership requests from recent medical school graduates and those seeking US-based hospital experience prior to joining internal medicine or neurology residency"
again the double stds or not??
