Application: Though there is no formal program as such, individual faculty could arrange them as per this policy manual which says:
"It is assumed that the availability of an observership is at the discretion of individual clinical departments based on that department’s availability of resources, and the existence of these guidelines is no obligation on the part of any clinical department to provide such an experience. Foreign medical schools must be recognized by the educational commission for foreign medical graduates.Any candidate accepted by a clinical department must be approved by that department’s chair, and notification of that acceptance must be given to St. John’s Hospital and Memorial Medical Center"

Actually another doctor friend of ours told us about him. And that's correct. He charges so much for an observership, only, but he takes you everywhere

I wanted to know if anyone has completed any of their USCE in Illinois and if they have, which insurance did they use? how hands on was it? did you receive an LOR? and what was the length of your USCE?

I want to know whether Dr. Rao is enabling externship at Good Samaritan hospital or as a private practioner.Kindly share any experience as his name is not found in the list of the Hospital's site.
Hi Digital Doc, I just want to ask this questions, bec. currently im attending medical school in the Philippines (I'm a US Citizen by the way)im an incomming 2nd year, do you suggest me taking my USMLE step 1 after my 2nd yr or should I wait until I finish my 4th year? and also is ok for me to do my clerkship in the Philippines and do some part of my clerkship in the US? would it be possible if you can email your response to sfboy1978@gmail.com
