KEYWORDS FOR LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION (LOR)
Often, you may be asked to frame an LOR yourself by your attending or faculty and he or she will edit and endorse, if found appropriate. Here are some keywords that you could use to focus on various aspects that it must focus on - your personality, work habits and intellectual and clinical capability. Of course, I don't expect you to use ALL - just the one's that are appropriate to you :-)

hey digidoc, ur quite right..
all my LORs were liteally written by me since none ofmy profesors had ever written an LOR before. i had to do a lot of brain racking to write a subtle but impressive LOR and talk abt seling urself..aint very easy..my LORS contain a lot of hte words u mentiond..thanks anyways, i have already sent them tho..but i guess this will help ppl in the future

hi digitdoc,
i have my LOR from the doctors but im applying 1 yr after and my LOR are dated 1 yr before tht so will it still be of importance when i apply for residency ?? and do they send those LOR back to the doctors for confirmation ciz i dunno if the doctors still remember me or not ;)

Its very rare for them to go back and check their worthiness. If at all they ask during the interview, you can always say your unable to get back in touch for a fresh LOR
