INTERVIEW TIP # 3 : WHAT DOCUMENTS TO CARRY ?

Carry Copies of All documents you submitted to ERAS - including the Dean's Letter / MSPE !! Not everyone asks for these - but you don't wanna feel mentally unprepared either :-)

A person recently posted on a forum that he was asked to show his Dean's Letter and he forgot to carry it!

Some people believe in being just too complete and may even carry a few copies of a concise resume with them..

Better still, how about putting the ball in the residency programs court by asking the program coordinators what documents to carry, when you reply to the interview invitation ? That way, if at all you don't have a document they request, you can go - "Duuuuuuddeeeee, but you did not tell me..I asked ya" ..LOL

Thanks, but I think u can't carry copies of LORs and MSPE if u have waived the right to see them, what should be the response in that case should the prog ask you to show it?

U r right...!! Documents which we have waived the right to see will never come to our hands in anyform, so how the applicant is supposed to have photocopies of the same...so better have the copies of only those documents which never fits into "waived to see" criteria.....to be on a safer side...
