FA for the match is a good reference book. What you would need for low scores is good US clinical experience, and physician contacts that will develop thereoff, to help you get interviews and vouch for your clinical skills. Refer my USCE blog Observerships, Externships and Electives

My new advice to IMGs is treat US clinical experience as the new Step 3 - the actually step 3 can wait until you apply ...if scores are low, then maybe a great step 3 score does offer some offsetting advantage, but generally its not too easy to do exceeedingly well on step 3, if step 2 ck was not that good..US clinical experience are a better bet
update this sir...7th edition is available now....
