Court's Gift: A Year of Residency ;-)

The Christiana Care Health System residency program in General Surgery is located in Newark, Delaware. I happened to read a story on how the program 'demoted' one of its general surgery residents - Dr. Ahmad Bali, back to the second year from the third year. Dr. Bali sued the program and the Delaware court ordered that he be promoted to a fourth Year (PGY4) status as a resident - skipping the PGy3 !

As per 2007 information on Healthgrades reports, Dr. Ahmad Bali went to medical school at Faculty of Medical at Syria and is now practicing surgery in Charleston, West Virginia.
